Welcome to my first location – Eddie’s Diner at Mermaid Quay in Cardiff. This features in the episode The Impossible Astronaut when the Doctor summons Amy, River and Rory to a diner near Lake Silencio.
I sat at Table 11 in the exact spot that Matt Smith sat and enjoyed a Strawberry Slush and fries. If you are on your way to the toilet you will see the TARDIS is still there.
I visited lots of locations in Cardiff in Feb 14 and if you stay tuned you will see a lot more, plus lots of my other travels as well.

I love that you are getting to visit filming locations. Here in the US, we do not have quite the same opportunities as you. Your American Whovians are jealous! May good fortunes follow you through your journey. Allons Y!

Thank you for your nice comment. There are some good places in America in Washington, New York, Arizona and Utah where Doctor Who has been filmed. The USA is a lot bigger than the UK so maybe not so easy for you to get to! I would definitely enjoy going there, especially with the amazing ice cream and milkshakes you have!Maybe one day!

Me and my family are desperate to visit Cardiff and see all the cool Dr Who stuff. Its such a long way to travel from Scotland thiugh but we r hoping to this year !! U r so lucky. 😃
