I’d quite like to see him travel with a male companion this time around, see how the chemistry and banter differs from how he was with Clara.

I thought of several possibilities, including: H.G. Wells; Captain James T. Kirk; Bill & Ted…! I also like the suggestion of Doc Emmett Brown (two Docs…yay!) However, methinks the ultimate travel companion for the Doctor would have to be…*drum roll*… Moi. That’s right, yours truly! Why not? I’m available! 🙂

If it can’t be me then I’d like to see the Doctor travel with an animal for a change and my favourite animal is a dog, so either Lassie or Pudsey!

I would honestly love for a previous character to return as the companion. For example, Shona from Last Christmas.

I think Madonna would be cool!

I was going to suggest Boudica, but I see someone has already suggested her. She was so strong and feisty, she would make an amazing companion for the Doctor,
So how about William Shakespeare? Can you imagine the difference it would have made to his plays? They’re obviously fabulous as they are, but they could be even better if he had:”Comedies”, “Tragedies”, “Historie”s and “Travels in Time and Space”!

Random I know but this would make my son very happy if Dr Who met the Clangers in space and shared an adventure with them! From my prospective Idris Elba would be good so I can watch him for longer than the Luther episodes last!!
